Staying in shape has been a goal of mine for years. I always have the same New Years Resolution and the same goal of loosing a few pounds. I am so sick of this goal. I want it to be REALITY already!
My first semester of law school has kept me busy. I have learned so much about myself these past few months. I am disappointed that I haven’t kept up with blogging. I certainly think it would have kept me inspired. But I am back again and I promise FOR GOOD.
Here are a list of things I got to increase my motivation:
I love the VS Pink yoga pants. These pants have a great fit. The fold over top keeps you from getting a muffin top. I especially love the geometric patterns. These are some fun yoga pants when you want to mix it up and add some style. Yoga pants can get pretty boring since they are usually all black. This is a great way to feel girly and be comfortable. I am sucker for these when I am studying. (warning wash properly to prevent fading)
I love these girls! I have raved about them before and I will continue to. They have a great diet plan that is fun and tasty. At first I was hesitant to buy it for $150 but then I caved in. It is one of my best purchases yet. They have recipes that are easy to make and tasty. They spell it out for you! if you want to loose weight this is an easy way to stay on track and have someone tell you what to eat without compromising flavor. I love their approach because they don’t cut out certain food groups. They find balance! I usually hate diets because they make me angry and miserable. This is the better ones that I’ve tried!
You’ll find me in the library these next past days but be sure that I’m eating healthy and working out.
This summer I tried Stand Up Paddle Boarding! It was AMAZING! They taught us the technique then sent us out on the Puget Sound. It was a 2 hour tour and an serious workout! It works out your whole body: legs, arms and core! I highly recommend it to anyone who wants to get a good workout and go outdoors. I plan on renting some boards again soon!
I am taking no EXCUSES. I’m wearing gym clothes to class so I have no excuse to not hit the gym.
I started the day with some organic, low-fat, vanilla yogurt and protein crunch cereal!
Oh yeah, and Bailey wanted to be in the pic too!
I am about to start my first full semester of law school. It it time to detox and get back into shape. This summer did a lot of damage to my routine. The hardest part of staying fit is getting the motivation to jump back into the game after taking a few weeks off. There is no better day to start than today. Even if you feel like shit, pick your self back up.
There is no better way to start the year of right than clean white sneakers and a cold bottle of Smartwater.
I’m BACK! Sorry I’ve fallen off the map. I’ve been busy with finals.
I started the day off with a 2 mile run and an ab workout.
Oh, and Bailey did some yoga with me
I ordered a wild rice, veggie, tofu, and stock bowl at Evolution Fresh. They flavors were great. It was comforting and packed with veggies to keep my stuffed. I love the concept of the Evolution Fresh brand. They have delicious raw juices, tasty smoothies, an affordable juice cleanse, and a great cafe. The only problem is that it isn’t very affordable. It has a small following because most people don’t want to spend $7 on a smoothie. The reason Starbucks sticks around is because people are willing to spend $3 on a daily indulgence, but I’m not sure that $7 fits into most people’s budget. While, I do understand that fresh products cost more, I don’t see Evolution Fresh staying around much longer if they don’t figure something out. I hope they figure it out because I don’t want to see Evolution Fresh going anywhere. I love cafes that promote healthy, clean eating!
This is my new favorite Kombucha brand. They have the BEST flavors! Guava mango is my favorite!
I’m always wearing yoga/gym clothes. My busy schedule doesn’t allow for much transition time. My favorite way to disguise my gym clothes is by throwing on a printed scarf. Happy Friday!
